My mug arrived quickly after ordering. It looks exactly like the pictures on the webpage. I put it in the dishwasher upon receiving it and it has held up well with no issues. I've only used it for morning coffee so far, no camping or anything yet, but I'm excited to get to use it for other things in the future.

Don't get me wrong, I love the design of the mug, but the problem I have is I didn't realize at first the material. With this being aluminum the heat transfer is crazy. Today I filled my cup after being washed with hot coffee for the first time, I burnt my knuckles against the side of the mug as I filled it. I'll keep using this mug but NOT for fresh hot coffee. But will state as a mariner an aluminum mug is probably the best to have on the boat as it won't leach plastic, but if not using on a boat then the aluminum is not necessary. Still, I love the design, just don't want to burn myself again.

You are absolutely right that as a metal mug a heat transfer will happen, which is why we designed it with a handle to have a spot on the mug that will stay cool for super hot beverages. These mugs can definitely be enjoyed with warm drinks but any super hot beverage will cause the metal to heat up. We hope you're feeling better and our apologies again!
