Founder's Corner

Hey Friends.

We had a big week! It was Heather's birthday (Happy Birthday Heather!) so I surprised her with tickets to see Paul McCartney at Coors Field, a lifelong dream come true for both of us.

For me, it was the indescribable feeling of finally checking off #1 on my bucket list. The Final Boss.

Hearing Paul sit at the piano and sing Hey Jude, tears of happiness. Watching him play Blackbird solo on his guitar in a crowd of 50,000 people, more tears.

Song after song, we were floating in a sea of bliss. In the midst of a single show, I found myself re-experiencing all the memories and happiness that a lifelong love of music has given me (thanks Mom & Dad). And recognizing that so much of it was rooted in these songs. In Paul's voice.

So, needless to say, we'll skip the "What We're Listening To" section this week, because I think you can guess. :)

If you love music and still have a chance to see Paul on this tour, do it. If it's not your thing, find a way to go see the Final Boss on your bucket list, whoever that is.

You'll be grateful for it the rest of your life.

What We're Watching

Slow Horses has quickly become one of our favorite shows to watch together.

If you've got little kids at home like us, it's hard to find a show that doesn't put you immediately to sleep - and at the same time isn't too intense when you really just need to wind down. (Kids bedtime is intense enough.)

Slow Horses is that perfect mix for us - the dark humor, suspense, and brilliantly flawed characters keep us guessing and laughing at the same time. And then, finally, sleep. :)

From Our Table To Yours

Grossy’s Vodka Sawce

On a chilly evening, this recipe is nothing short of magic (the name of it is pretty magic, too).

Mix it all together, and the thick, glossy sauce covers every piece of pasta in savory deliciousness.

Pair it with a glass of your favorite wine or bevvie, put on a good playlist, and let the aroma and flavor wrap you in cozy happiness.
