Founder's Corner

Howdy Friends!

Life lately has been feeling especially full in the best kind of way. The fall colors in Colorado are putting on their yearly show - golds, reds, and oranges that are making every car and bike ride feel a little more magical.

Speaking of bikes, we’re helping our son & daughter learn the joy, and all the wobbly excitement, of learning how to ride their bikes. There’s something so sweet about watching them find their balance, and their confidence, one pedal at a time. And of course, it triggers all the nostalgia of our own childhood memories flooding back. (If you've got any tips for how you got your little ones riding a bike fast, please share them with us!)

Now we’re leaning into the spooky season, and already watching Halloween movies in our cozy blankets. After a busy summer, it's a treat to have a season that encourages slowing down, and it all has us feeling pretty grateful for this beautiful, fleeting time of year.

What We're Listening To

Red Rocks 2020
Nathaniel Rateliff

This album captures such a powerful & emotional moment in time for us. We were lucky enough to be there - only ~150 people allowed into Red Rocks (a 9K+ seat venue), all sitting 6+ feet apart. It was surreal.

And then the music began.

Seeing live music again after all the months of social distancing, being back at Red Rocks under the stars, and feeling a connection to all the other people experiencing the same cathartic release...it was everything we needed.

From Our Table To Yours

Wontons & Veggies In Curry Broth

This is a perfect weeknight meal that feels special but comes together quickly. Like 15 minutes quick.

It's hearty, warming, and has a flavor bomb that makes you think "Did I really just cook this?!".

The flavors deepen overnight, so we recommend making extra and having leftovers for lunch!
